CORE2021


On October 12-16, 2021, the 3rd International Symposium on Coastal Resources and Environment (CORE2021) was successfully held at Hohai University, Nanjing, China. The central topic of this seminar was Coastal Biogeomorphology and Nature-based Solutions. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the symposium was also held online for guests who could not travel to Nanjing. 

CORE 2021 was jointly hosted by Hohai University (China), University of Edinburgh (UK), Sun Yat-Sen University (China) and Trinity College Dublin (Ireland). The symposium was supported by the International Association of Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR) which is one of the leading international organizations of engineers and professionals in fields related to the water environment.

More than 160 participants from 20 different countries took part in the symposium, delivering 82 presentations in 4 parallel sessions. Nearly 10,000 visitors from more than 70 countries around the world joined the online simulcast of the conference via the ZOOM online meeting room.
